01Who we are
This notice explains how Becket & Partners (“we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through www.becketpartners.com. For any question about this notice or your information, contact us at contact@becketpartners.com.
02Information we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, work email, organisation, role, area of interest, your message and the language version of the site you used.
When you subscribe to our perspectives, we collect your email address, the page and language from which you subscribed, and a record of your consent.
When you write to us directly, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
To understand how the site is used, we collect aggregated visitor statistics such as pages viewed, referring websites, browser type, country and page-loading performance. These statistics do not use cookies and are not used to identify or follow individual visitors.
03How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to prepare and discuss a potential engagement, to send the perspectives you asked to receive, to keep the site secure and working well, and to meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or advertising profiles.
04Our reasons for using it
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating our website, on your consent for our perspectives by email, and on legal obligations where they apply. You can withdraw consent at any time.
05Cookies
This website does not set cookies for analytics or advertising. Our visitor statistics service does not use cookies or similar storage on your device.
06Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and our communications, under their own security and data-protection commitments. These include our website hosting and visitor statistics provider (Cloudflare), our form provider (Web3Forms) and our email provider (Microsoft). If we use a dedicated service to send our perspectives, your email address will be shared with that service for that purpose only.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
07International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers.
08How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless they lead to an engagement, in which case we keep the relevant records for as long as needed for that relationship and our legal obligations. We keep subscription details until you unsubscribe. Visitor statistics are kept in aggregated form.
09Your choices and rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent and to receive a copy of it. You may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, or to unsubscribe, write to contact@becketpartners.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
10Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid including confidential information in an initial enquiry.
